We at Gillions Funeral Services understand that grief does not end with
the funeral. Our care does not end there either. We will
continue to care about you, and are here to help throughout the grieving
process.
The death of someone close to us brings many changes in our lives and we may
experience feelings of overwhelming intensity. Grief affects us in
many different ways and although our grief is unique to us as individuals,
its painfulness is common to all, and is a normal response to a great loss.
Christmas often brings with it painful reminders of the gap in our lives
left by the death of a loved family member or friend. We hold an annual
candle lighting service before Christmas for those who have been bereaved
through the year. All are invited to participate in a short service,
and light a candle for the deceased person.
