"Buildings are only bricks and mortar, it's the people who work here who provide the service and assistance to our families". It is important to remember that a funeral is as individual as the person considering funeral arrangements.
" We pride ourselves in being able to meet most reasonable requests."

I enjoy working with and meeting families and count it as a privilege to be able to support people through their grief.

Being able to draw on my prior work history, as a baker and a police officer has provided me wealth of life experience that greatly benefits me as a Funeral Director. It enables me to relate to people with understanding and compassion.

I have been employed within the funeral industry here and overseas since leaving school, predominately involved with embalming and preparation of the deceased for family visitation. I am proud to be associated with Gillions Funeral Services and my aim is to provide client families with a lasting positive memory of their loved one during their time of bereavement.

After a long career in sales and marketing, I joined Gillions in mid 2007 as the office administrator, and thoroughly enjoy the personal contact with people that the role offers. It is a privilege to be involved with assisting families at such a vulnerable time.
At an early age I gained a deep respect for those in the funeral profession after they helped me through a difficult bereavement. Now having joined the team at Gillions it is my privilege to have the opportunity to extend that care to others.
