Our pledge is to support you in your time of need with consideration, understanding and respect, for the deceased, their family and the wider community.
Funeral flowers are a centuries-old tradition. However, many people now prefer a casket spray or a simple bunch of cut flowers to traditional wreathes.
If the deceased was a passionate gardener or someone who would not have appreciated a floral tribute, we can arrange for something more individual, like a gardener’s basket, with vegetables and flowers combined. Or, you may like to have something very simple such as a single rose or lily, framed by greenery and a ribbon.
You may care to decorate the casket with photos, or symbols of the deceased’s interests or items they held precious such as fishing gear, or gardening boots and gloves. Examples at past funerals have included a tomahawk and stack of kindling for the person who kept the home fires burning, or a casket spray of weeds for a self-acknowledged abysmal gardener! Options are virtually endless.
