It is with much sadness that we advise the peaceful passing of Valmai Maureen Cleland on March 17, 2026; aged 93 years.
Much loved wife of the late Norman, father and father-in-law of Maurice and Debbie, Heather and Noel, Jill and Grant, and John and Shelley. Adored Nana of her 11 grandchildren and their partners, also great-nana of her 18 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at Summerset Bishopscourt for their loving and compassionate care of Valmai.

Laufiso Mikaele Filipo Laufiso passed away peacefully at Dunedin Hospital on 11 March 2026, aged 88 years. Eldest son of Epati Laufiso and Apikeila Fa’amoe of Samoa. Born in Fogapoa, Savai’i, on 16 August 1937.
Dearly loved husband of the late Agnes EtiIvala-Laufiso. Loved father of Marie; Philippa & Hiliako; Tillie; the late Michael & Reitu; Mafutaga & Tauleva; and Filomena.
Loved and dearly respected Uncle to Rosalie & Lemalu, and Naomi. Godfather to Lisa and John.
Cherished Grandad of: Evotia and Phillippa; Epati and Reipae; Kellee, Jordan and Rachel-Marie; Joachim; lolana, Salaevalu, Tagiilima and Paige;
Ioane; Kahurangi and Hineterangi.
Adored Great-Grandad of Malachi; Temaiohamaitawhiti Thu Reign; Hinano and Ayane; and Valkyrie.

Filipo will be at Dunedin Samoan Catholic Community Hall at 172 Corstorphine Road from 4.00pm on Monday March 16 for any groups to visit and farewell him. A family service will be held there at 5.30 pm on Wednesday March 18. Contact 022 166 9137 to arrange visits.
The funeral service will be held in St Patrick’s Basilica, 40 Macandrew Road, South Dunedin at 10.00 am on Friday March 20 to be followed by interment at Green Park Cemetery 440 Bright on Road, Waldronville.

Known to many as Flo, passed away on March 6, 2026; aged 67 years.
Loved son of Arnold* and Pamela* Moylan, brother to Alan, proud father of seven children, grandfather to nine grandchildren, and great grandfather to three granddaughters, much loved uncle, cousin, and long-time friend to many. (*denotes deceased).
Flo’s last show run ended unexpectedly while doing what he loved with Sturgeon’s Amusements.
